If you, like the thousands of other geeks out there, did not get asked to your high school prom, never fear. On April 13, the NorShor Theatre will host the first ever—that’s right, ever—Geek Prom. The inaugural Geek Prom is an opportunity for geeks of all persuasions to celebrate their geekiness. For those lucky few who were considered “cool” in high school, this is the perfect opportunity to let your inner-geek shine like never before. The evening will be filled with awkward romance, video games, cheesy music and spastic fits of clumsy dancing. Pizza Lucé, the Brewhouse, and Lake Avenue Café will be providing pre-prom dinner specials and a limousine will provide geeks a shuttle to the event. Festivities for the night will include live music and a special grand march to culminate in the crowning of the King and Queen Geek.
