In the hopes of preventing all sorts of coughs and sniffles, the Geek Prom committee has put together the Geekquel Prequel — a fun and safe alternative to camping out for tickets. The Hoot Owls and Vinnie & the Stardusters will be playing at Pizza Luce Friday Night, while Adeline (of Adeline & Co. salon) wanders around helping the cool kids go “from totally chic to totally geek.” After that, the “activities for dorkwads” at Robin Goodfellow begin (space is limited), and continue until Saturday morning, when tickets go on sale and everyone can take advantage of the “Earlynerd Special.”
