Duluth geeks apparently have worn out their welcome. The annual
Geek Prom, held in Duluth since 2002, is moving to the Twin
Cities.
The fifth annual Geek Prom will begin 7:30 p.m. April 22 at
the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul.
"The museum is really a perfect setting for this event,
because when geeks party, they want to party with the skeleton
of an extinct passenger pigeon," Geek Prom founder Paul
Lundgren wrote in a news release.
Dork-a-rific activities include a video-game tournament in
the museum's big-screen 3-D Cinema, a spaz-dancing contest
and cow eye dissection. Seriously.
