Do you snort when you laugh? Do you just feel prettier dressed in spandex and sporting a cape? Have a favorite Cylon? Did something funny happen to you at band camp?

Geek Prom is an event tailored to your nerdy needs.

The almost-annual party has gotten national recognition for celebrating geekdom.

This year’s event starts with a grand march at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Zeitgeist Arts Building. There will be nerd trivia, educational films, an Air Supply air jam and spaz-dance contest. A geek king and queen will be crowned, followed by music from the Four-eyed Snakes AKA the Black-eyed Snakes when they aren’t playing to a crowd of Settlers of Catan fans.

Dress accordingly.

After-party and re-integration into cool society starts at midnight at Pizza Luce, 11 E. Superior St., with music by the Fractals.
